Wine Cork Bookmark

Make a unique bookmark using a wine cork, wire,
beads and ribbon.
You'll also need needlenose pliers or your choice of jewelry pliers.

A friend of mine and I visited Meinhard Vineyards

last year and had a great time!

I chose a wine cork from a bottle of wine we purchased there.

Visit their website: http://www.meinhardtvineyards.com/

I don't know the gauge of this wire, but it's very easy to bend.

I used a nail to make a hole through the cork.

Thread the wire wire through the cork.

Using your pliers, curl each end of the wires however you like, just be sure it's closed so you can add beads. Using one strip of ribbon, a little longer than your book, tie to each end of the cork. (Picture below.)

Add various beads and findings. This is the top of the cork.

Bottom of the cork.

Finished bookmark.

This is how you use it. :)
